My paper world.
I seem to be crying..

Blood?

No, it's just the paper tears I've made,

while in my paper castle.

They run down my cheeks,

cutting me,

like you did when you said those words.

But unlike the tears I made

the ones you made were real,

and they hurt more

then the small paper cuts I make now.

Atop my castle of paper,

I look down to the fairy tale land

of love and forever

and wonder how I lived down there

in the dream.

It seemed to be so peaceful,

until I learned the truth

and you banished me

to forever make my paper tears

in my castle of paper.

if I were the rain that binds the earth and the sky, who for all eternity can never mingle, would I be able to bind two hearts together?

You and I, we're both the same. Whiling our lives away on non-existant dreams. Everything we knew wasn't real in the end, the lives we lead had no meaning at all to anyone, not even us.
